Greenpeace launch ‘A Watershed Moment in India’ Campaign

Greenpeace have launched the “A Watershed Moment in India” campaign to help develop a sustainable solution to the irrigation problems facing rural India. The campaign, which was launched on September 3rd 2013, calls on innovators and entrepreneurs worldwide to develop a sustainable renewable powered irrigation pump to cut irrigation costs, encourage micro-irrigation methods and be cheaply available for India's rural farmers.
