We have a slight spring in our step these days, thanks, in no small part, to our recently formed partnership with sustainability media outlet The Alternative (bear with us if we start gushing, we’re big fans).
A lot of you have probably heard of them, they’re kind of a big deal. So we don’t have to tell you twice that we are rather stoked to be partnering up with the Alternative. Based in Bangalore and using the web as their prime means of publishing, their ethos of making sustainability an everyday topic speaks right to our heart and their collection of articles covers a broad spectrum of subjects from daily tips on living sustainably to latest updates on the green economy.
They aren’t afraid to sink their teeth into the big issues and do so, in fact, with relish, taking complex themes and breaking them down into stories that are relatable and applicable to everyday life. Instead of just writing an article about sustainable travel, they’ll send a writer out on the road to document the ways in which a person can get the most out their trip while leaving minimal impact on the environment.
In other words, these guys really know their stuff and they drive that point home by hosting sustainability-themed events once a month.
We’re still wrapping up all the details of our partnership but we’ve been bursting at the seams with excitement over this and our seams are just no longer gonna hold it all in. Check out The Alternative’s website and hit ‘em up on Facebook and Twitter.
