One Small Act

Small deeds done are better than great deeds planned

One small noble act of kindness is all that is required to make a difference. Just a small act can initiate a chain of kindness and it isn’t as difficult as it sounds.

One small noble act of kindness is all that is required to make a difference. Just a small act can initiate a chain of kindness and it isn’t as difficult as it sounds.

In the community that I have recently moved to in Canada, I have often come across posts on communities’ Facebook pages about people (sometimes anonymously) passing on a gift card or a small token of kindness just to make someone else’s day a bit more pleasant. The idea is to help start a chain of altruistic actions and anyone with the means is encouraged to pay the kind deed forward.

Looking for some inspiration to implement ‘one small act of kindness’ everyday? Check out the article by Angel Chernoff, ‘60 Selfless Ways to Pay It Forward’, detailing small acts tat can leave a happy impression upon the recipient.

By just shopping local we can help one another! There are so many different ways which we can use to make a positive impact on lives of people that we come across every day. The act of kindness doesn’t have to be planned, it can be spontaneous.

So, what are you waiting for? Go out and initiate the chain of kindness in your own city and if you please, do share your experiences with us.
