While writing this blog, I am also endeavouring to find a full-time job. Many of us don’t just want to find a random job, but a purposeful one that encompasses our passions, interests, and professional goals. Some people may say job hunting sometimes depends on luck and networking. To that, I say come on, we can’t always be passive if we want our dream job. It’s about a commitment to time and effort. An online tool gives you tips to get a job with purpose.

You are looking for a job. That’s a huge task and a long process. This tool breaks it down for you into 50 smaller and fun steps, from finding your purpose, mapping your current career path to interesting topics like tips for ‘deciding when to work for free’ and ‘start work without telling the company’. The website, born out of a book along the same thematic lines and produced by DreamNow, acts as a kind of personal coach, offering concrete tips to help job-seekers keep spirits up and their eyes on the prize.

I found some helpful tips within the ‘Stuck’ category. Here you will find ways to reach out to mentors or release stress to figure out ways to get ‘unstuck’. The tool is super user-friendly and takes a ‘think out of the box’approach  as it presents all necessary steps you would go through while hunting for a job.

These “50 Ways to Get a Job That Makes Good” are only recommendations from collective ideas and there is no guarantee that you will for certain get an employment contract. As the creator of this online tool says there is no magic bullet for getting a job.

“If you commit to doing every exercise, with authenticity, serious effort, hustle, and follow through, you will discover your path, find your ideal career, and get hired.”
