Tomorrow, the Indian Institute for Human Settlements (IIHS) and Swissnex will host the fourth part in their ongoing “Shaping the Urban Future” lecture series.

This event will be led by Professor Jean-Claude Bolay, Director of the Cooperation & Development Center of EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne), an institution which is also the UNESCO Chair in Technologies for Development. Professor Bolay’s lecture will be underpinned by the theme “Sustainable Development and Urban Transformation: Lessons Learned and Perspectives”, looking at how sustainable development intersects with urbanisation and analysing case studies to help format new thinking when it comes to future urban planning.

The event will take place at IIHS’ Bangalore campaus (address: IIHS Bangalore City Campus, No. 197/36, 2nd Main, Sadashivnagar, Bangalore).

All interested attendees must register online prior to the event, click here to do so.
