The Hindu Business Line recently ran an article detailing how urban agriculture is a key means of addressing issues surrounding food security.

It is no secret that food security is becoming one of the biggest international concerns as fluctuations in weather patterns effect the consistency of crop harvests and the prices of essentials such grains and vegetables shoot skyward. And it’s not just happening in the developing world. Countries such as the USA sweltered through a devastating drought this year, resulting well-below average yields for things such as corn and wheat.
