Support RESET with Flattr

Perhaps you've already noticed the little green "Flattr" button on the bottom left-.hand corner of our newsblogs. But what's it all about? Well, if you read an article on RESET that you like and it's followed by a Flattr button, you can click on it and RESET will receive a small donation.

Perhaps you’ve already noticed the little green “Flattr” button on the bottom left-.hand corner of our newsblogs. But what’s it all about? Well, if you read an article on RESET that you like and it’s followed by a Flattr button, you can click on it and RESET will receive a small donation. Before you get clicking though you need to have a Flattr account (which is super easy to set up).

The idea behind Flattr is to honour and financially support publishers of online content, the majority of whom publish items such as news stories, blogs, videos and music that is available free-of-charge to the public.

There are a number of organisations, media outlets, photographers, software companies (who generally offer their programs for free) and podcasts you can „Flattr“ with your support such as Greenpeace, WWF, Gimp Image Software and oodles more. To get started, you need to create an account with Flattr and from there, you can top it up financially as you desire and use it to make donations where and when you like by clicking on the Flattr button.
