Organised by the country’s go-to think-tank on sustainable and resourceful business practices, Sustainability Outlook, the Awards – which take place on October 17, 2013 – recognise innovation and achievement and act as a springboard to further dialogue about the imperative for all businesses to adopt eco-friendly policies.
With the effects of climate change becoming ever more prescient, implementing green practices is no longer a niche concept and knowledge-sharing among the business community is critical to the success of maintaining sustainable business practices. These Awards highlight the cream of the corporate crop, showcasing those who achieve that perfect and not-so-elusive balance between economics and environment.
The Awards focus on businesses working within specific sectors, such as Pharmaceuticals / Chemicals, Food, Textile and Apparel, Consumer Durables and Electronics, Automotive and Auto Ancillaries, Clean Technologies, Logistics Providers Building Materials and Power / Oil & Gas.
