A click of a button and the charity is done. You get the blessings and the needy get the support. As access to internet is being extended to the masses, so are donations surging and reaching non-profits, natural disaster zones and needy causes in a (mostly) timely manner.
A recent article by the Huffington Post about Giving Tuesday’s donations jumping 90 percent this year up from last year demonstrates a trend that there has been a significant rise in online donation. As we become increasingly comfortable with making financial transactions online, our perceived "trust" that our money is going where it is intended heightens. Done correctly, donating online can be,at times, more transparent and trustworthy than other, traditional donation channels.

Our last Christmas article, “Feed the World. Let them know it’s Christmas time” showed how a song was able to bring together the most influential, popular and talented artists in the British music industry to raise money for charity. The holiday season brings together the feeling of joy and being blessed, making it a season of gift-giving to family and friends - why don’t we extend it to the needy and support them by just clicking some buttons.
