Building off the success of their recent event in Berlin, the Ecosummit team head to London next month, bringing together the top minds in urban planning, cleantech and business.
Ecosummit looks to provide fertile ground for enterprises to further their clean technology innovations, acting as a connecting point for cleantech startups, investors and enterprises. The London event, taking place from 15-16 October, draws thematically from its host city, flying under the motto of Smart Green City with a carefully curated line-up of speakers who’ll bring expertise and know-how to this concept, including:
- Fabienne Herlaut, Managing Partner, Ecomobilité Ventures;
- Harry Böhme, CFO, Samsung;
- Jonathan Tyler, Chief Commercial Officer, Climate-KIC;
- Alexander Bigge Lidgren, Portfolio Manager, Swedish Energy Agency; and
- Mads Jensen, CEO, Sefaira.
The event in London will place emphasis on exploring the role that cleantech can play in contributing towards sustainable urban development, stating that a smart green building can act as a beacon when it comes to cleantech integration. A host of events and conferences will look at how one smartly designed building can influence architecure and construction in its surrounding burrough and, as an extension, the surrounding cityscape.
Ecosummit’s ultimate goal is to facilitate the smooth and swift tranistion to a green economy, using this event as a bridge to take the cleantech industry and urban development to the next level.The event in Berlin, held in June, brought together engineers, energy specialists and forward-thinkers in an effort to help turn environmentally-conscious technological ideas into successful business ventures.
