Climate change is happening. The Daily Climate is looking to keep you in the loop on how irregular weather patterns can be linked back to climate change.
Out-of-season surprise snow falls, cloud bursts, cyclones or even a sudden rise in temperature are somehow, sometimes related to climate change. The Daily Climate, through their "Climate at Your Doorstep" initiative is working to bring highlighted stories about the impacts of climate change as they happen.
To help them achieve their objective, they are calling on supprt through their Kick tarter campaign, ‘Climate change, happening now, which is aiming for $25,628 in funding.
From leveraging attention on important issues that we, the citizens of this world, should seriously look into, to building a platform where everyone – journalists, scientists, the public – can interact, "Climate at your Doorstep" will be all about bringing the best science and journalism together in one place for everyone to interact and contribute in, so that the dots can be connected between climate change and day-to-day irregular weather that we all have been experiencing and bring it as true as it is picture to it’s readers.
You can already check their already-published stories here in The Daily Climate's archives. They now are working on a platform where real stories about real people coping with really difficult climatic situations are automatically picked, streamed, giving inisght into how people are coping and adapting to drastic climate conditions.
