Memorandum of Understating with four Independent Power Producers have been recently signed by Haryana Government for setting up in total of 51 MW of Biomass project.

Memorandum of Understating with four Independent Power Producers have been recently signed by Haryana Government for setting up in total of 51 MW of Biomass project.

The major plants will come in cooperation with the sugar factories/Mill. Haryana already has been one of the biggest supporter of Solar Energy in the North India ,Lot of initiative is also been done on the rural level to promote Renewable Energy.

Innovative scheme to reward the Panchayats which have done excellent work for the promotion of renewable energy had been major reason for the positive response from all levels and other states can also learn a lot from haryana’s approach and contribute significantly.
