What the World Bank is to developing countries, Echoing Green is to social entrepreneurs! Their fellowship program, which helps give aspiring social entrepreneurs a financial leg up, opens in 50 days.

If you’ve got a solid idea that can have positive social impactm this could be for you. The 2015 Fellowship Application will open on December 2, 2014, offering over 4.6 million USD in seed-stage funding to the selected fellows. Under their two-year fellowship program, the organisation selects individuals with ideas for social change and after proper assessment, provides them with seed money and even additional strategic support to help them get a healthy start. Some of the more well-known organisations who have had help from Echoing Green include Teach For AmericaDisaster Accountability Project, Empowering Spirits Foundation, and many more.

They have so far invested 36 million USD in startup funding to help more than 600 social entrepreneurs across 40 countries, in order to fund and support these entrepreneurs in creating positive changes across the world.

In the first two years, fellows will receive up to 90,000 USD, opportunities to participate in leadership development gatherings, and additionally also have access to the powerful network of Echoing Green Fellows, partners, and friends.
